• Successfully implemented SAP IBP for multiple clients of various sectors such as health care and retail, resulting in improved data integration, data quality, and reduced processing time
• Designed and implemented complex data integration scenarios between various SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP CIDS, resulting in seamless data flow and better business insights.
• Configured IBP Demand Planning, improving forecast accuracy and Optimized supply planning using IBP Supply & TS Optimizer, reducing supply chain costs
• Developed and executed data migration strategies for various SAP projects, including migrating data from legacy systems to SAP systems, resulting in reduced downtime, minimized errors, and increased efficiency

Project Description

• SAP DSIM (Demand Signal Management) is pre-written content delivered via SAP’s data warehouse for big data – SAP BW on HANA
• Demand Signal Repositories aim to gather different “signals” of demand into one place to harmonize them, and then reuse them wherever they are needed
• This project cut across various modules like Point of Sale, Retailer panel data, Trade Activity data, etc

Contribution

• Gathered the requirements from the Business Users
• Designed and developed Hana models using Hana Studio
• Analyzed the existing model and designed the new Data model, which involves various kinds of objects in BW viz., Info objects, Data sources, DSOs, Process chains, Transformations, and the expert routine which use ABAP
• Analyzed the Design and Development models based on functional specifications
• Performed unit testing & integration testing

Projects

Retail Measurement System

• This was a development & implementation project related to Demand Signal Repository, which comes under Supply Chain Management
• It gave end users an overview of how their products performance in a particular market over a period and also against competitors
• It involved delivering an end-to-end solution starting with receiving data from the 3rd party data provider up to the final report used by the Market Users

Responsibilities

• Developed the entire back-end flow and the reports, which helped the end users make appropriate decisions for their business's growth

Brand Health Metrics

• This was a development & implementation project related to Demand Signal
• The Marketing team carryout their product launch and Campaign/ promotion planning periodically
• While preparing for the product/ campaign launch, insights on the Brand performance, impacts from the competitor products, and intensity of campaign needed to improve the brand image are required
• The reports created as part of this project will enable the analysis of brand health, brand imagery, and competitive analysis to track and analyze Consumers’ attitude towards the Brands, their Consumption behavior, and their perceived Image of the Brands. Compare Nestle's Brands
• Health with Competitor Brands. Monitor the evolution of Consumer and household segments and analyze the relationship between Consumer and Household segments and brand health

Responsibilities

• Took up the responsibility of the entire implementation right from requirement gathering to building the entire flow, including the end-user reports and also enhancing the flow based on the user requirements

Point of Sales

• This was yet another end-to-end implementation focusing on retailers selling Nestle products
• The 3rd party Data Provider was responsible for collecting data at the Point of Sale
• We were delivered this retailer-specific data and had to develop the entire solution till the final report

Responsibilities

• Took up the responsibility of building the data flow for various markets and also worked on few modifications suggested by the end-user to the existing flows

SAP SLT & HANA Skills

• Designed and Developed Calculation Views
• Optimization of Composite Provider by converting the model using calculation View Type Cube and using the same in reporting via Composite Provider
• Implemented multiple Information Models for reporting and optimization in SAP HANA
• Designed SLT environment configuration for real time replication of Master data and Transaction Data

SAP BW on HANA Skills

• Have extensive knowledge in ETL Process
• Designed Multiple Composite Providers for BEx reporting
• Created Advance DSOs and Info Objects using Hana Studio
• Developed multiple BEx Queries including components like Calculated KF, Restricted KF, etc., in the BEx Query Designer
• Created BW Objects like Data source, Info Package, Transformations, DTP, Process Chains, etc., for ETL Data flow

SQL and Microsoft Power BI

• Used SQL to extract and model the data from the HANA database
• Applied business logic on the data based on the user requirement using various SQL statements
• Built Power BI reports which are extremely user friendly on the modeled data
• Published and shared the Power BI reports with the end users and colleagues within the organization
• Modified the existing Power BI reports and models as per the user requirement

Student Experience Ambassador

• Raised positive awareness on Conestoga Students Inc events, services, and other topics/campaigns to fellow students by creating and posting content which gave detailing on various events conducted by Conestoga Students Inc.
