  • Coordinate with Facilities and Maintenance teams, as well as private contractors, to support the general cleanliness of properties and building repairs and upkeep.
  • Act as the direct report for the Staff Housing Coordinator and Caretaker roles, including the hiring, training, and continued development of these team members.
  • Oversight for all check in appointments, performer of regular tours of premises with new residents with the Coordinator.
  • Work in coordination with the SPR and SPG Payroll teams to follow up on delinquent rents and assist in coordination of remediation.
  • Work in coordination with the HR team to build and maintain department allocations in flow with new job offers from all departments.
  • In step with the Payroll team, monitor timely receipt and reconciliation of rent collections in accordance with the Staff Housing Handbook and License Agreement policies.
  • Oversight for check-out appointments and post move-out inspections to identify required repairs and to ensure appropriate deposit deductions for below standard cleanliness and damages.
  • Oversight for prompt response to resident complaints and remediation where needed, including coordinating with other SPR/SPG teams, and facilitation of other support services.
  • Maintained the collection and ordering of signed Staff Housing Handbook License Agreements, including recollection during update periods, in digital format for HR and Payroll purposes.
  • Oversight for the partial creation and updating of the Staff Housing Handbook and License Agreement, including introducing new policies and procedures when indicated. Coordinate document updates and edits from various members of the Staff Housing Committee.
  • Facilitate all Staff Housing Committee bi-weekly meetings, maintain record of minutes and meeting agendas.
  • Oversight for the implementation of a new reservation database to improve the efficiency of allocation tracking and automation of various communication channels (ongoing).
  • Monitor resident behavior and implement corrective action to maintain order and community cohesiveness. Deliver warnings, letters of expectation and fines in accordance with the Staff Housing Handbook policies and the Staff Housing Committee deliberations.
  • Both assist with and independently develop annual operating budgets as well as annual reports and forecasts.
  • Implementation and enforcement of policies and procedures to maintain properties to high standards; instruct and train new Staff Housing team members on these policies and procedures.
  • Construction of the Resident Relations program, which includes the planning and execution of events (7-8 annually) such as educational meet and greets, community and social bonding events, as well as other assorted gatherings that offer a social alternative to bars and partying.
  • Oversight and conduction of regular inspections of both interior and exterior of properties for cleanliness and damages.
  • Deliver emergency 24-hour on-call service for residents as needed, especially during periods of low staffing in the Sun Peaks Resort Security team.
  • Management of Staff Housing parking lot, including the collection of resident vehicle information and distribution of parking passes for upwards of 50 residents at any time.
  • Facilitate required purchases, including the tracking of payments, invoices and expenses.
  • Assist with development and budgeting for future maintenance projects in coordination with the Building Maintenance Manager
  • Creation and oversight of various intake documents, including the implementation of work flows and conditional logic programming to aid in the accurate and efficient collection of information for both incoming and current residents.
  • Complete oversight for the "Bedding and Linen Resale" program, which serves over 250 individuals annually.
  • Act as primary communicator with all hiring managers at Sun Peaks Resort and Sun Peaks Grand Hotel.
