Waste Management Applied Project on TIRE Waste (July 2023 to August 2023)

I worked with Professor Dr. Homeira Ekhtari and a dedicated team on a six-week project focused on TIRE waste management. We reviewed articles, crafted a synthesized essay, identified common themes, and refined our reports. This project enhanced our research methodologies and underscored the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing complex environmental challenges.

Waste Management Needs Assessment for York University (May 2023 to July 2023)

I collaborated with a team and conducted a waste management needs assessment for York University, under the guidance of Calvin Lakhan and Professor Dr. Homeira Ekhtari. Our aim was to determine the recycling rates, diversion rates, and total carbon footprint associated with the university's waste management services. We reviewed existing literature, established baselines and ranges, and conducted an in-depth analysis to assess the current state of waste management services. Our findings aimed to improve waste management strategies at York University.
