I joined as a recruit, and was promoted to Corporal within 10 months. I was given the opportunity to become an Assist Cadet, which means teaching younger Cadets drill and basic training.


Responsibilities include:

  • Commitment to attend regular training
  • Learning and mastering drill
  • Self-discipline
  • Adhere to strict uniform policy
  • Basic Pilot Training
  • Completed FTX training which includes survival skills

  • Helping to raise money for 180 Mosquito Squadron Air Cadets
  • 16 hours spent at different locations around Avenue Rd
  • Dealt with many members of the public
