Laboratory Technician
- Company Overview: Highly skilled in sample collection, processing, and result interpretation
- Proficient in ECG tracing, blood pressure, phlebotomy, and urinalysis
- Collect samples such as blood (via venipuncture, finger prick, or heel prick) from adults, children, and neonates and receive other samples from patients
- Proficient in methodology and practices of Microbiological analysis
- Prepare different samples for laboratory testing, solutions, and chemicals
- Knowledge of pre-analytic procedures such as centrifugation, aliquot, and smear
- Profound knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR)
- Accuracy to write and enter data in a laboratory information system
- Follow the standard operating procedures, lab safety regulations, and WHMIS
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft, Word, and Excel
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and quick learner
- Strong attention to detail, disciplined, careful, and focused
- Completion of IPAC core Certification
