Once a year, the ORBA holds a convention in Toronto to specifically address matters that are of importance in the Ontario sector of road building. This year I am working with 2 plenaries: the first is Labour and Workforce Shortage where we have asked Monte McNaughton’s (Ministry of Labour and Skilled Trades) office and Stephen Lecce’s (Ministry of Education) office to speak. We also have invited some high-ranking lawyers to address the contractor concerns with the 2 ministries.
