I have never had a real job before but because of my schools graduation requirements I've gotten many experiences from community service and being a TA which the basic skills of I already knew from being a pet and baby sitter in the past. I am about to go into my junior year at my college prep school which has taught me a lot of organization and responsibility. Below is a laid out list of my work experience.
One of my graduation requirements is 20 hours of community service per high school year so in the summer between 9th and 10th grade year I volunteered at Camp Capitola as a Junior Leader which menat not only was I assisting kids but as well as the older counselors. During my time there I switched to a different group of kids which menat dealing with different ages or in one case walking kids to the beach ro junior guards and being in charge of monitoring crosswalks. To help counselors I set up activities and lunches for the kids
Since the end of 2019 I have been taking care of my two younger brothers and I occasionally will take care of family friend's children
Since 2024 I have been doing pet sitting for family friends mainly for dogs
During my junior year I had a free period which I would use to visit my AP US history teacher who also teaches multiple sections of other history classes at my school, during these free periods I would help with grading, answering questions from students, and assisting students with accommodations. Now in my senior year I will be officially signed up as her TA as an extra cirrcicular.
