(Pembina) Safety Advisor: Provide Safety support for the Hythe Brainard Expansion project (Raptor). Some of my responsibilities included:
Reviewing contractor and sub-contractor qualifications and requirements prior to arriving on site.
Developed and conducted site orientations for the project.
Completing multiple site tours and monitored contractor’s activities, site conditions, safe work practices and inspected site for potential hazards.
Reviewed contractor FLHAs and equipment inspections. Providing coaching when needed.
Participated in Pembina and contractor morning tailgate meetings and weekly safety meetings.

(Pembina) Safety Advisor: Provide Safety support for the Hythe Brainard 11-18-74-12 W6M Train 5 Flare replacement project. Working closely with the construction manager, project engineering and the area safety advisor, some of my duties included:
Developing work procedures for specific tasks while working in a live facility. Ensuring all relevant Pembina safety documentation was completed prior to work beginning. Perform ground disturbance audits. Using the Pembina Safety Hub to access necessary documentation for the project. Perform multiple daily site tours and provide support as required.
(Pembina) Safety Advisor: Provide Safety support for a well completion project at 6-04-63-06 W6M.
(Seven Generations) Safety Advisor: Specializing in Concurrent Operations some of my duties included,
Schedule and hold Concurrent Operations meetings with site supervisors, in the field, at the work site.
Provide support for activities deemed “concurrent.”
Attend concurrent meetings and provide advice with respect to managing the risks associated with the site(s)
Identify the risks associated with the concurrent activities on the sites deemed “concurrent.”
Provide details as to the risk levels associated with each risk identified.
Provide guidance with respect to risk mitigation measures and detail on risk assessments.
Review permits, work site releases, or other safety documentation issued by the Site Supervision Teams to ensure that they meet requirements with respect to content and accuracy.
Understand all applicable Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) requirements, legislation, and other relevant documentation.
Liaise with all members of the project or business health and safety teams as required.
Participate in work-related meetings that discuss safety performance and/or issues.
Continually monitor, trend, and analyze concurrent risk identification and measures to reduce or eliminate risk.
Immediately notify site supervision of any act or condition that constitutes non-compliance to either regulatory requirements or company standards.
Ensure the management of files for applicable documentation in a filing structure.
Provide thorough cross shift notes and cross over meeting
Post any (internal and/or external) health and safety bulletins and learning's related to construction activities on site.
Identify if contractors are adequately developing and implementing effective corrective measures whenever work deficiencies have been identified.
Assist in the identification of potential hazards, hazardous work, or work that is hazardous to the environment and/or facilities.
Provide on-going support and/or monitoring of the hazardous work in question.
Recommend and assist in implementing mitigation measures and safety improvement initiatives.
Provide coaching and mentoring of work site personnel for continuous improvement, including use of the Positive Observations, etc.

Responsible for operation and maintenance of Oil and Gas Wells and their respective Facilities. Conditions ranging from high pressure sour to sweet heavy oil. Duties included data entry for production accounting, organizing services for routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Operations Coordinator: Mar 2000-June 2002

Liaison between Operations and Construction to successfully complete projects with minimum downtime and to ensure all concerns from both teams were brought to the forefront and incorporated in design and construction.
Coordinated all new well startups and commissioning.

Responsible for all construction activities in the Pelican Lake area. Duties included managing at peak 1500 contract staff/service providers, and managing budgets up to $150MM.
Duties included new pipeline construction, facility construction, implementation of construction practices, commissioning and turnover procedures.
Worked closely with Operations and Engineering to achieve a best fit outcome on all new construction.
Established trust between stakeholders, aboriginal community, government officials, service providers and the general public.
Ensured that Health and Safety was top of the list on all new construction.

Developed and managed yearly budgets between $30MM and $40MM for well servicing operations.
Liaised between Operations/Drilling/Road and Lease/Engineering to ensure safe work flow on Padsites with concurrent operations. Member of a team that designed and mapped out multi-well Pads prior to drilling, enabling the best chance for success with concurrent operations.
