I am a driven and motivated student looking to make an impact through my work in the community. I am deeply interested in joining your team and gaining a great experience from this job. I believe that my academic background, sportsman leadership, athletic capabilities, and prior volunteer and work experience have prepared me perfectly for applying for this job. While a student at Avon View High School, I participated in school sports, and have been playing hockey for the Valley Wildcats U18 AAA team. At Avon View High School I also volunteered countless lunch hours to student council and our unified basketball team to create a better experience for all students attending the school. Over the past few hockey seasons, I have been placed on my team’s leadership group along with fellow teammates. Every winter I have volunteered in the development sessions for the West Hants Minor Hockey Association by helping kids learn how to play and grow their desire to be a hockey player. I have received several leadership, work ethic and MVP awards regarding my passion and work ethic that I bring daily. I have great people skills and excellent work ethics that will undoubtedly contribute to my success in this job. I look forward to making an impact through this job experience. I have attached my resume and I look forward to hearing from you and further discussing this job opportunity. Thank you for your time and consideration. Yours Sincerely, Peter MacKay
