- Safely ran multiple machine centres to high standard
- Presently I am a posted short log debarker operator and understand the full scope of the job and am the proud production record holder there
- My present trainee is the east and west tbl canters.
- Worked in the planer as a lumber grader (AA) ticket holder and passed the provincial championship examination.
- Trained most of the graders and maintained a high degree of knowledge through practice and dedication to this craft.
- I work lumber bins and am also a strip system attendant in the present mill helping the team maintain a smooth continuous flow of product in a safe manner.
- I have also ran every machine center in Amill (the old side) including bandsaws, merchandisers, edgers, log pockets and band saw tailers.
- Amill sawmill relief operator. My duties were all of the above in this position including, conveyor duties, training of new operators when required, size and quality checks, making adjustments for size and quality, organizing breaks and tracking overtime, clearing jam ups, replacing hand tools and chainsaw maintenance.
- Assets also include many more items such as power saw, clean up, msds, safety captain for a term, a solid understanding of lock out procedure and a want to learn more.
