  • Worked with the business to develop a list of key deliverables for the SAP ERP/EWM implementation.
  • Performed the fit/gap analysis to develop a project scope. Found transportation planning and pallet build logic lacking in SAP standard functionality.
  • Sourced Ortec as the external partner to provide the missing functionality. SAP agreed TM could not meet our needs and Ortec already had namespace inside SAP.
  • Routing provided an already excellent tool that also included load planning. Worked with them to develop pallet building that integrated seamlessly into load planning.
  • Took the Ortec pallet build outputs and used them to create EWM Order picking warehouse orders and tasks.
  • Simplified RF functions to minimize training required to on board new employees for this entry level function. Incidentally, the support required to go-live was also substantially reduced.
  • The end result was the creation of a good deployment plan that could be executed exactly as planned.

  • Responsible for blue printing sales and distribution process for English Canada as well as our US export operation.
  • Only the export business was determined to be make to order. All other was make to stock.
  • Worked with the production planning team to determine a replacement for SAP APO which was unsuitable for brewery operations planning.
  • Source INFOR as the supplier for both forecasting and a cost based Advanced Planning tool that could provide detailed production plans and subsequent network deployments.
  • Worked with the developers to create interfaces with our distribution partners to provide our planning tool with near real time sales and inventory positions.
  • SAP ERP go-lives in 5 breweries and 14 warehouses went on time and in budget.
  • Championed organizational change initiatives that led to significant improvements in internal processes, culture, and eventually, employee engagement.
