I have been involved in the planning, design and construction of various projects ranging from; dry pond, wet pond, minor/major sewer rehabilitations, emergency events, SWMFs safety improvement, manhole sealing, underground storages and other LID infrastructures. Some of the activities I have carried in completing these projects are, but not limited to;

  • Engaging various internal and external stakeholders in the early stages of the project to determine project scope and ensures expectations are aligned through consultation and gathering of feedback.
  • Developing budget, fine tuning and updating cost estimates, schedule and scope including monitoring and reporting on projects progress to senior managements according to the directive provided

  • Worked with the University of Alberta to conduct thorough research on drop structure impacts on odour generation in drainage deep tunnels to inform drop structure modification design option.

  • I was involved in the analysis of In-Line Inspection (ILI) data to prioritize pipeline integrity digs, preparing dig sheets using ILI information and collaborating with Senior Engineers to supervise contractors on integrity digs and pipeline repairs
  • Three months after I resumed work, I did a project where I used the CSA Z662 to develop uniformity in class location for TransGas transmission pipeline in the system integrity group
  • I participated in the annual risk assessment and analysis of the entire TransGas pipeline system and the year-end technical report that was presented to the company’s Senior Executives
  • Before I completed my term, I developed a casing management program for TransGas pipelines at all roads and railway crossings based on NACE, SPI, ASME B31 G, and CSA Z662 standards

  • As a Geo-Environmental Engineer for a company involved in municipal water quality assurance, supply and infrastructure management, drilling of water boreholes and extraction/analysis of core samples from contaminated sites, I conducted over 300 environmental site assessments (phase I, II, III), managed several environmental projects and infrastructure to communities of over 15 million residents
  • Assessments involved the analysis of historical data and gathering of recent information from surrounding site activities

  • I extensively used borehole information to predict the potential underground flow of contaminates into an aquifer through subsurface flow based on soil types and geomorphology
  • I led a team of engineers and technologists responsible for installing ground water-monitoring wells to investigate aquifer depletion in areas prone to water scarcity
