- Organize and facilitate project safety meetings, undertake, and document formal job site and environmental inspections.
- Participation in Environmental Protection Plan, Waste Management Plan and Hydrocarbon Reduction Plan.
- Support with daily operations on the construction and installation of underground utilities and civil construction.
- Conduct trench assessments and inspections.
- Audit and update safe work procedures.
- Permit system with the Albian Sands, Suncor operations, for the utility expansion in the live facility.

- Work within a team of 16 Safety Coordinators, with a workforce of over 600 workers daily.
- Complete worksite inspections, and ensure corrective action logs are being completed.
- Complete weekly, monthly HSE statistics. Present them to clients in weekly progress meetings.
- Responsible for completing weekly safety meetings, toolbox talks, and site orientations. Overseeing Work and the Environment.
- Complete the Site HSE pre-approval process for all potential subcontractors to complete or perform work on the project.
- Identified potential health risks due to workplace exposures and developed control strategies accordingly.
- Conducted periodic reviews of job hazard analyses, recommending changes as necessary.
- Reviewed incident reports from external sources such as insurance companies or regulatory agencies.
- Monitored contractor activities onsite to ensure adherence to company standards for safety.
