- Made sure the horses had feed and water, let them out to pasture. Coordinated with the ferrier to come and maintain the horses hoofs
- Worked on and helped coordinate the construction of 4 new cabins. Coordinated with volunteer groups on the construction.

Volunteered with Manitoba Riding for Disabled now Prairie Strides for 20 years
Worked as a side walker together with another side walker and a leader, leading the horse. Engaged with the other volunteers and with the rider, getting the rider to get involved in the exercises and games during the one hour session. The goal was to get them more and more comfortable and also start to control the horse on the their own.
