• Chainsaw/ brush saw thinning: Removing trees and shrubs to create a more open forest structure.
• Piling and burning: Making piles and burning with established barriers to prevent wildfires from spreading.
• Prescribed burns: Controlled burns to reduce fuel loads
• Community Education: Teaching homeowners and residents about fire safety, prevention, and mitigation strategies.

Brush Saw brushing, Chain Saw brushing: Responsible for clearing brush, small trees and debris. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of Saw safety. Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate chainsaw or brush saw to clear brush, saplings and other vegetation.
• Follow proper cutting techniques to avoid kickback and other hazards.
• Remove debris and prepare areas for further development or maintenance.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing proper PPE
• Inspect and maintain chainsaw/ brush saw.
• Report hazards or concerns

• Planting trees in various environments, ensuring proper care and survival.
• Requires: physical stamina, attention to detail and a commitment to environmental stewardship.
• Experience: Started planting fresh out of high school with a passion for working outdoors and collaborating with like minded people.
• Locations: Worked on the coast in the spring and ventured throughout the province, planting trees from north to south and east to west, demonstrating a willingness to travel and adapt to diverse environments.
