I have been the lead preceptor for RDP MLA students since the inception of the program at RDP. I also train NAIT CLXT students in phlebotomy, data entry, specimen control and ECG's as well as new MLA,CLXT and MLT hires.

For many years I was the lead MLA for new hire and yearly competencies for VP, T/S collection, Blood Culture collection and micropunctures for all staff. Assigned MLA super user for Lacombe Connect Care, Instrumental in Launching the Commitment to Comfort program in Lacombe, temporarily trained and redeployed to APL booking line in response to COVID 19 in 2020

I Work in a fast paced high workload environment. ER trauma, acute care, restorative care, Long Term Care and Out Patient Lab services all on site have given me many multitasking skills, team work skills, patient care skills as well as problem solving and critical thinking skills
