While at Calforex Ltd, I performed various duties that included carrying out cash currency transactions, assisting clients, data entry, performing paperwork of my daily transactions and balancing our currency inventory. Equity Research Analyst

Sprott Student Investment Fund
09.2016 - 04.2018

While at Carleton University I worked with the Sprott Student Investment Fund. The Sprott Student Investment Fund is a way to give students firsthand experience working in Equity Research. I was assigned to analyze the Consumer Staples sector and was tasked with coming up with a Buy recommendation by the end of each quarter in which would go towards a position in the school’s portfolio. The Sprott Student Investment Fund followed a Value Investing strategy and I was tasked with analyzing the sector through a top-down approach. Once selecting a company that I recommend taking a position in I would prepare an Equity Research report for the end of the semester with a colleague, and we would present it to a panel. I gained valuable skills in this position like getting my Bloomberg certification, Valuation skills, Financial Modelling and tracking Capital Markets.
