  • Assists breakdown of shipments upon acceptance via hub for Inbound at Airlines. Pre-sorting / segregation of shipments per station location.
  • Unloads shipment from airport to warehouse and distribute them via tracking per station.
  • Monitors arrival of shipment to point of destination.
  • Sends alert to ultimate consignees for any shipment delays.
  • Escorts and turnover shipments from point of origin to warehouse and helps in buildup of consolidated shipments via AMJ’s.
  • Sort outbound shipments at warehouse per country destinations.
  • Assists in reweighing of shipments at warehouse before loading them at AMJ’s and transport to Airlines.
  • Accepts cargo and complete documents according to IATA standards especially on Dangerous Goods shipments.
  • Ensures prompt shipments of packages by completing all necessary documentation/paperwork and checking their conformity to FedEx-prescribed requirements and standards.
  • Maintains constant communication with related departments as per target date & time specified to ensure that all pick-ups, requests and deliveries are actioned as per commitment to customers.
  • Promotes the company’s image by ensuring that smooth communication is maintained professionally in both internal departments and external customers.
  • Generates and submits required reports such as delivery report, pup manifest and Famis timecard on time, which will be used for updating PODs (Proof of Delivery) Station Report.
  • Provides necessary documentation relating to pick-up of packages using the company’s automated systems I e. FSMS (FedEx Ship Manager Software) and AEDS (Automated Export Declaration System.
