• Initially worked with the Advanced Pediatric Care Program. Responsible for nursing care of pediatric clients in their homes. Clients required care of tracheostomy, ventilator care, seizure monitoring and medication management.
• Also provided nursing care of adult clients in a clinic setting and home visits. Various treatments provided such as wound care, central line care, catheter care and IV therapy. Developed new skills in Palliative Care.

• Employed on the Multi Organ Transplant Unit responsible for the care of preoperative and postoperative organ recipients. Level 2 ICU monitoring was required including cardiac monitoring, Arterial line management and administration of inotropic medication.
• Administered medications safely according to established guidelines while closely monitoring for side effects or adverse reactions requiring intervention.

Responsible for the care of Thoracic, ENT and Urology patients. Acute Surgical care required performing a variety of nursing skills.
