Summary

I currently work at Stanford Hospital as an Emergency Department Technician. In my role, I perform splints and electrocardiograms, input patient data into Epic computer systems, and assist in procedures and various aspects of patient care with multiple interdisciplinary team members. I serve as a unit educator in the Emergency Department for Hospital Technicians, medical students, medical residents, and nurses. I am a part of the unit-based council within the department, thus allowing me to represent all Hospital Technicians at Stanford Hospital. I have received multiple recognitions, most significant being Emergency Department Technician of the Year for Stanford Hospital and Kaiser Permanente Medical Residency Program. Outside of work obligations, I am a National Student Nurses Council member. My capstone internship was done at Intermountain Healthcare’s LDS Hospital in the PACU, pre- and post-operation settings where I worked with patients in a critical care setting. I’m a member for the Student Nurses Association and the Alpha Beta Xi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Society of Nursing.
