Volunteer Positions

  • President, Westward Ho Campers Association, Current, I helped form the association in 2012. The association operates the Westward Ho Campground for Mountain View County. The association is responsible for the complete operation of the campground and has a full-time staff of three and a seasonal staff of 12. The association has also donated over $225k to various charities since it started.
  • Various, Local chamber of commerce’s, The Northern Lights Winter Festival, Volunteer Firefighter, Prior to 2010, Over the years I have been involved with many organizations and boards including local chamber of commerce’s, The Northern Lights Winter Festival. I was also a volunteer firefighter for several years obtaining the Rank of Assistant Deputy Fire Chief. These positions have taught me how to work with and motivate others in stressful situations.
