Sales, Marketing, and Communication
Maple Ridge,C/O 22723 136A Avenue, British Columbia

Summary

I retired from an eighteen-year career, teaching in Canada, I also have a strong background in business receivables and in telephone sales methods. I am a very energetic and enthusiastic 67 year old man, married with two daughters aged nine, and sixteen, my wife is 48 years of age. I have a total of 36 years of professional and business experience.

I met and married my Filipino wife in Canada and we moved to the Philippines ten years ago. We are presently in the Philippines, selling our house here and we want to move back to Canada to live and seek full-time work in Grande Prairie, Alberta, where entry positions are being offered in Insurance Sales for Personal Insurance Advisors.

I am an experienced communicator, and I am also experienced in telephone sales and marketing, having worked in the receivable and telephone cold calling industries in Canada. I have had a plethora of experience in sales and customer service over the telephone over the course of my career in Canada.

I present a relaxed, professional, and fluent approach with customers over the telephone. I am a very good manager of my files, and very adept at documenting, tracking, and crafting my call-backs, and sales. I would make an excellent Insurance and Sales Advisor.

I am trained in Human Psychology from my formal Education training at the universities that I have attended. I can answer objections and close sales, reversing a no sale to a sale, using charm techniques. All of my work in the communications field has been conducted in person, through teaching, and by use of the telephone. I have followed the Jack Schwartz Method of selling by telephone, I have his book which is now out-of-print.

I am also a fluent English speaker and I can conduct customer service across social media platforms, and over the Internet. I am a hard working employee with customer service, multitasking, and time management abilities and skills.

I am devoted to giving every customer a positive and memorable experience. Organized and motivated employee eager to apply time management and organizational skills in multiple environments and settings.

I am seeking an entry-level opportunity in Insurance Sales in order to expand my personal skills while facilitating growth for a company. I have been a committed job seeker with a history of meeting company needs through consistent and organized practices. I am skilled in working under pressure and adapting to new situations and challenges in order to best enhance organizational brand of a company.

I am an excellent writer, having spent over twenty years writing, teaching, and implementing curricula and lesson plans. I am a very good researcher and article-writer.

I am a follower of Marshall Rosenberg's non-violent communication methods, also called, Compassionate or Collaborative Communication, it is an approach to non-violent living that was developed by Marshall Rosenberg beginning in the 1960's.

NVC is based on the assumption that all human beings have the capacity for compassion and empathy and that people only resort to behavior that is harmful to others when they cannot recognize more creative and effective strategies for meeting other peoples needs.

We have begun the process of selling our house in the Philippines, should I have a job offer, I can be on the next plane to Grande Prairie. It is all about the job offer. They have direct flights from the Philippines to Grande Prairie.

I hold a valid Canadian passport and I complete my taxes with the C.R.A. every year in Canada. My wife and I own a rental property in Maple Ridge, B.C. and we are very much connected with Canada. I only need to establish my residency in Grande Prairie, Alberta. After I return to Canada, I will work to bring my wife and two daughters also back into the country.
