Summary

I am a highly skilled and experienced nursing professional with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings including palliative care, geriatric care, acute care, a specialized adult unit, home care, and pediatric home care. This diverse background has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the unique challenges and dynamics of each field, while also honing my clinical expertise and expanding my skill set.

One of my greatest passions in nursing has been education. I have had the privilege of teaching in various settings, from formal classrooms to on-the-job training. My teaching experience has been recognized by both students and colleagues, as I am known for my ability to impart knowledge in a clear and concise manner.

I am focused and meticulous when it comes to identifying and resolving concerns, managing my time effectively, prioritizing tasks, and balancing the demands of my work. This level of dedication and attention to detail has earned me the respect of my colleagues and superiors.

Currently, I am enrolled in the Regional Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing Program at Stenberg College. This program is equipping me with the specialized skills and knowledge needed to excel in the field of psychiatric nursing. I am eager to apply what I have learned to my practice and to make a meaningful difference in the lives of my patients. I am set to graduate in June 2025 and I am eagerly looking forward to this new chapter in my career.
