I sterilize the instruments for the Dentists and Hygienists, assist the hygienists with perio charting, and other documentation, take digital radiographs, setup and cleanup ops. I occasionally assist the Dentist when someone is ill.

- I maintained and cleaned the sterilizers on a regular basis, as well as the suction traps.

- I worked as a Hygiene Assistant to 5 hygienists, which involved documenting perio charting, recession, furcation, mobility, minimal gingival attachment, TMJ function, occlusion, intra and extra-oral assessments, updating odontograms (for COE and NP exams) taking xrays (Pans, BWs, PAs), pouring up models, helping to clean rooms if time allowed and I took care of the sterilization for the office.
- The sterilization included using the Hydrim instrument washer, documenting steri-pouches and blue wrap, along with class 5 indicators, logging sterilization times for the Midmark and Statim 2000, and reading USB devices for the Bravo and Statim 5000, according to the PubIic Health Ontario IPAC protocols.
- Occasionally I assisted the Dentists.
