Before retirement, I was an accomplished Senior Design Consultant with over 25 years of experience, specializing in both commercial and residential projects. I demonstrated exceptional strategic thinking and design skills, excelling in creating innovative solutions and fostering collaborative relationships.
I established a proven track record in managing projects from conception through construction, emphasizing sustainable practices.
2002 - 2004 President, Surrey School District 36 DPAC, representing the parents and guardians of over 62,000 student enrollment, among other School District 36 initiatives, including, DPAC Parent Advocacy, various Surrey School District 36 administration committees, as well as civic, and community contributions, including 2004 Surrey Drug Crime Task Force chaired by then Surrey City Councillor Dianne Watts.

Elections BC Ballot Issuing Officer (BIO)
Experience includes:
•In class training
• Advance and/or final voting days
• Issue ballots to voters.
• Reporting to the Supervisory Voting Officer (SVO)
• Verify voter identification and entitlement to vote.
• Update voter records in the electronic voting book.
• Issue ballots to eligible voters.
• Provide instructions to voters on how to mark their ballot.
• Direct any voter issues to the SVO as they arise.
• Close the voting station and pack up all materials
Working conditions:
• Arriving early to set up voting station and administer voting for at least 12 hours.
• Dressing comfortably but neatly in neutral colours.
• Will leave their voting station to eat during meal breaks
• Bring own non-perishable meals and beverages.

One of my first projects as a design consultant with Wade Stockdill Armour & Blewett Architects and Designers was the interior improvements of the Legislature Buildings in Victoria.
I went on to complete many commercial office and retail projects, including the Japanese Consulate, AT&T, and Westward Shipping during their 50th Anniversary among so many others.
