As a Facilitator I have spent the last 10+ years learning, evolving and practicing my craft. I continue to learn new things everyday and draw inspiration from my coaches, peers and most of all my participants.

I have had the opportunity to Facilitate Virtually and In Person for programs such as:
DM101, Management Essentials, Fresh, ASM Empowerment, Smart Serve, Launch Calls, SSC/Field Development Sessions and more. I have participated in Market Partner development sessions and program basecamps.

I supported the development, design and delivery of our AAMGP, DARE Program &WIR Rising Stars and have leveraged those key learnings into all that I do. Through my experience I have grown my Word and PowerPoint skills and continue to upskill as part of my own personal development in both design nd facilitation principles.

  • As a Department Manager I had the opportunity to participate in a full store set for store 1061. I began as a Department 82 DM and was responsible for Modular Integrity, PI Maintenance, Pricing Accuracy, Zoning and overall Cleanliness and Customer Service.

  • As an ASM I held various areas of responsibility over the year in role. These areas included Homelines, Health & Wellness and Fresh (Produce)
  • In this role I once again leveraged my learning as a Department Manager (more technical day to day) to the Mid level role (technical paired with leadership) and took those skills to lead at an elevated level. As an ASM I focused on process, mentorship, associate development as well as 30-60-90 planning and also succession planning.
  • My time in Fresh included supporting the piloting of OBW. I took part in hosting Market Partners as they began their OBW Training and then also supported my team as we also started our learning.

Mid-Level Manager

  • The role of Mid Level Manger evolved multiple times while I was in role. As an hourly extension of the salaried Management team I first oversaw the day to day operations of the Homelines, Hardlines and Garden Centre areas of the store. Leveraging my Department Manager technical skills I was able to develop my Leadership skills through team communication, delegation and working in partnership with the Assistant Managers in the store.
  • As my role evolved I became a Backroom Mid Level Manager. At the time I managed 2 teams broken down as the 1st shift and the 2nd shift instock teams. My team was responsible for bin accuracy, binning, picking, managing the flow of freight by loading and unloading trailers and sorting through breakpack merchandise to be processed on the floor.
  • Backroom safety and Compliance was also a large part of my role - supporting the safety and maintenance of racking, access doors, docks, powered equipment and licenses and supported creating safety awareness not only on my team but throughout the store.
