• Leading a portfolio comprising of 3 major verticals which include 80+ Quality Engineers spread across Pharmacy Solutions and Technology at Loblaw. As a QE Lead in the 'Pharmacy and Healthcare' domain, my responsibilities included:

• Leading and managing a team of quality assurance professionals in the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure the quality of software applications related to pharmacy and healthcare
• Designing and implementing QA processes like Shift Left Testing approach and procedures specific to the domain, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Conducting risk assessments and identifying potential quality issues, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks and improve overall product quality
• Participating in requirement gathering and analysis sessions to provide input on quality aspects and ensure alignment with customer expectations
• Performing comprehensive functional, integration, and regression testing of pharmacy and healthcare software systems to identify defects and ensure system stability
• Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on the effectiveness of QA activities in the domain
• Mentoring and coaching team members, providing guidance on QA best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Overall, my role as a QA Lead in the 'Pharmacy and Healthcare' domain involved ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet the specific needs and requirements of the pharmacy and healthcare industry.

• Led a QE Team of 8 members in a payment modernization project - Interac e-Transfer for one of the biggest clients in the financial domain - RBC
• Developed multiple automation projects and solutions using ReadyAPI tool to test 12 APIs across a period of 16 months
• Also led the FI-to-FI testing for the client FI which involved extensive coordination and testing with other FIs and ensuring our product is certified successfully by the Certifying Authority
• Organized and conducted defect triage sessions across all teams involved to ensure maximum quality deliverables
• Created a solution to integrate the automation test framework with ALM and update results in realtime during execution
• Prepared the detailed plan for End-to-End testing involving more than 10 upstream and downstream teams which ensured 2 cycles of smooth end-to-end testing and coordination in both QA and pre-production environments
• Outlined and established high quality QE practices withing the team and ensured proper code reviews are conducted within the team
• Developed the Smoke Testing & Regression Testing pack and integrated it along with DevOps deployment Jenkins pipeline to achieve continuous integration and continuous delivery
• Brainstormed and provided logical solutions to realtime problems and also maintained a healthy and positive environment within the team
• Worked on design, development, improvement and maintenance of automation framework
• Worked on the development of a Java based reusable framework to handle Excel and CSV based I/O operations thus eliminating the dependency on third-party tools to handle file handling requirements.

• Developed a comprehensive reusable test automation framework from scratch primarily using Selenium, Java, Maven and TestNG which has been reused over 12 times in 2 years across 8 teams to automate different web-based applications, thereby reducing the manual effort in each team by 90%
• Automated the complete regression suite for 3 projects by writing test scripts for using the developed framework and configured continuous integration using Jenkins
• This resulted in bringing down the time and effort involved in regression testing to zero as the scripts ran overnight via Jenkins and detailed reports were mailed to the respective stakeholders
• Wrote integration tests for 50+ REST web services (Automated API Testing) in Java using a Spring Runner based automation framework and learned to serialize/deserialize complex JSON requests/responses
• Worked both as an individual contributor and as a senior team member involved in mentoring the junior team members
• Improved test automation process by introducing code reviews, updating technology stack and adding reporting using Allure reports
• Designed and implemented workflows using Jenkins Pipeline by dividing the end-to-end process into sequential stages and controlling each stage using pipeline script written in Groovy.

• Took a leading role in test automation and manual testing, actively involved in creation of detailed test plans, test cases and test scenarios for different application modules according to functional requirements and business specifications
• Responsible for conducting smoke, functional, UI, regression and ad-hoc testing by writing manual test scripts in HP Quality Center (ALM)
• Utilized Selenium WebDriver and Java to automate regression scripts earlier written in HP QC
• Gained hands-on experience on API testing using Postman tool for testing REST webservices

• Continuous Integration setup using Ant/Jenkins and comprehensive testing, defect management for end-to-end migration of 155 Applications across 400 Servers from Windows 2003 to Windows 2008 Server
• Defined a comprehensive test approach by closely analyzing the dependencies among the interrelated and critical applications and suggested reuse of the existing project lifecycle model by adding couple of branches
• The new Test Approach suggested and implemented by me at such an early stage of career, helped in reducing the SCM team's lead time by 80% and per application testing effort by 90%
• This saved $9K for the company and was much appreciated across the leadership
• Was awarded the ‘ACE Award' for the same which is the highest award in the organization
• Extensive coordination and communication with client via Defect swat calls, Root Cause Analysis calls, sending regular progress reports for Test Preparation, Execution and Defect Status.
