- Processing/manufacturing products in accordance with written processing orders.
- Preparing manufacturing areas and equipment for the production of pharmaceutical
products. - Cleaning processing equipment and rooms in accordance with written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Ensuring product quality meets the standards of Patheon, our clients, and applicable regulatory agencies including, but not limited to the Health Products and Food Branch
Inspectorate (HPFBI), United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and European
Medicines Agency (EMEA). - Following the required Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) and Good Manufacturing Practices requirements.
- Operate a centralized control panel with electronic or computerized systems to oversee and optimize physical and chemical processes across multiple processing units.
- Manage the initiation, shutdown, and troubleshooting of processes.
- Collect product samples, conduct tests, record data, implement statistical process control on operations, and maintain production logs.
- Develop operational procedures for standard, startup, and shutdown processes for units.
- Participate in safety audits and programs and provide emergency response as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
