  • Supply and regulate 35 psi low-pressure and 250 psi high-pressure steam to TMP plants, and paper machine drying systems.
  • Control boiler combustion, steam pressure, fuel/air ratios, and load changes using a Distributed Control System (DCS).
  • Perform routine boiler water chemistry testing, including: P-alkalinity and M-alkalinity control within specified ranges (e.g., P-alk 8-10 ppm, M-alk 50-100 ppm - adjust caustic feed accordingly)

  • Complete daily operating rounds on boilers, pumps, valves, compressors, generators, and auxiliary equipment to identify abnormal operating conditions.
