Project: AML Transaction monitoring system implementation

Description: This project involved integration with Verafin for AML Transaction monitoring system. Verafin required multiple data feeds (contact, customer, account, identity, transaction feed) to enable AML monitoring on transactional data. Thus, a solution was built to extract, transform and generate data feed that complies with Verafin’s format and requirements. Led the implementation of AML Transaction monitoring system, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and integration with external platforms such as Verafin.Collaborated with stakeholders to identify business needs, conducted requirement elicitation sessions, and documented user stories and interface designs.

Project: Digital Onboarding Flow

Description: The project is about a new Banking and Investment product modernization solution. It was developed with Agile (Scrum) methodology to serve prospective customers with digital-only technology channels. It manages retail banking, loan accounts (Neo Mortgage), Investment accounts(Neo Invest), HISA (noe money), current accounts, TFSA, RRSP, and RESP.

Skills Applied: Agile methodology, requirement elicitation, user journey mapping, documenting user stories, interface design, and data mapping.

Responsibilities:

❖ Participated in defining and breaking down a product roadmap for Neo Invest digital onboarding and goal creation.

As per the changes, Meridian should have the ability to capture, track, and resolve any complaints submitted by customers through available digital channels. The complaints reported by the customer will be stored on salesforce CRM and Customers will get real-time email notifications on the status of the complaint.


Project: Enterprise data hub

This Project aimed at enhancing security, integrity, and scalability to operational databases by disabling direct access to DB and introducing middleware APIs to access data by various channels and Microservices. Using middleware APIs between the application and the operational database enhanced the security, data integrity, scalability, performance, flexibility, code maintainability, and overall robustness of the system.


❖ Examined the systems/business procedures of the client and took the lead in analyzing requirements and the current state of the system.
❖ Decomposed high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements and prepared the Detailed Requirements Specification document (DRS), specified in an appropriate level of detail suitable for the development team.
