Yarmouth,NS

Summary

My past experience as a director of CUCNS, Atlantic Central, LSM League Savings & Mortgage and NS Co-Operative Council has enabled me to become an effective board member, vice-chair and chair. During the past thirty years my involvement at the Provincial level has awarded me the opportunity to participate in training workshops and seminars to further my understanding in corporate governance, risk assessment and fiduciary responsibilities.

With over 40 years involvement in the Credit Union both as President, Director, vice-chair and chair has enhanced my knowledge of operational procedures, the ability to read and understand financial statements, and most importantly the ability to be an innovator, to envision a greater expansion of the services Credit Unions provide.
