Maintenance Trainee – City Services

• Respond to service requests for graffiti abatement, including surface preparation, chemical cleaning, pressure washing, and paint color matching for both public and private property
• Create and manage detailed work orders documenting labor, materials, equipment, and before/after photos
• Conduct citywide inspections to identify and remove graffiti (“search and destroy” operations)
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe handling of chemicals and equipment
• Coordinate with business owners regarding graffiti abatement waivers on private property
• Retrieve abandoned shopping carts, identify contracted vendors, and coordinate pickups with external companies
• Perform trail maintenance including debris removal, crack repair (perma-patch), fence repairs, vegetation trimming, and storm drain clearing
• Operate commercial pressure washing equipment to clean and sanitize contaminated or hazardous surfaces

My general duties in the glass shop and out include:

Going out on service calls to customers homes to find the pieces they need replaced, take accurate measurements, and give estimate before leaving.

Load and unload glass delivery into company vehicles

measure and cut glass into correct measurements

Load vehicles with proper tools and ppe needed for the job.

Set up jobsite at customers house

Going out on work orders to customers home to replace the glass measured previously.

Remove old glass, removes adhesive glass is used to stay on panel, clean area, install new adhesive, put panel back and finally clean the glass.

Discard of old glass.

My general duties are, Glass replacement and installation/retrofitting, Screen repair and replacement. Bathtub replacements. My duties specifically with in the company is to assist Stuart with loading glass, cutting glass to measurements, measuring glass, measuring and cutting of trims, Assist with heavy lifting when required. removal of old frames Working efficiently while maintaining good work is important to satisfy our clients
