Effectively manage crews, schedule material, subcontractors, equipment, float moves, tri axles, days tasks, and etc. within Metrolinx Rail Corridor.

Barrie Double Passing Track Site (12.5miles long) Design Build

Duties:

  • Read Site Plans/Shop Drawings and execute them in a sequential plan
  • Conduct on site health and safety meetings and site inspections.
  • Liaison with inspectors, Metrolinx representatives, City of Toronto, Ministry of Environment, consultants, and property owners
  • Provide recommendations and design altercations to remedy design issues.
  • Occasionally operate heavy equipment/ labour if short staffed

Key Achievements:

  • Successful closed multiple zones within the project
  • Effectively operate/grade with equipment (Excavator: CAT336,CAT345, CAT309; Dozer: JD750, CATD3, CATD5; Loader: CAT950G/H; Roller; Skid Steer; Telehandler).

Duties:

  • Pre-investigation measures such as client liaison, cost estimates/ proposals, submission of work plans, traffic plans, scheduling, & site reconnaissance.

  • Supervise and conduct field investigations such as borehole/well drilling programs, structural assessments, environmental sampling, & instrumentation.

Duties:

  • Operated a double pallet machine in a 1/2 million square foot warehouse with over 1000 workers present at a time.
  • Prepared orders, printed shipping tags, wrapped skids via automated wrapping machine, and staged orders for shipping.
  • Worked in both the produce and grocery departments handling dry and wet goods with weights exceeding 40 kg.
