I am a responsible, hardworking and intelligent individual in search of summer work experience that will further develop my skills and abilities. I am attending a mix of classes in high school including academic level courses along with applied technology courses in order to keep my options open for either post secondary education at the university level or other options including trade school and/or apprenticeships. At this point the most important aspect of work is gaining experience and developing new skills.
Helped out every friday and a few other days throughout the summer at the warehouse and office with various tasks. Did some shipping and receiving work with the forklift helping to load customer orders onto trucks and unloading deliveries coming into the site. Also did some inventory counting and general property maintenance to keep busy. Helped with basic customer service for both lawn and garden business as well as farm customers.
Assisted in receiving incoming deliveries of product for the store and moving product to shelves for customer sale
Looked after propane exchanges for customers, ice sales, LCBO and Beer Store empty returns, and grass cutting.
Assisting with baking department and ice cream dispensing
Floor sweeping, mopping and other duties as assigned.
Learned basics of the computerized register, and basic inventory monitoring.
Completed my level 2 referee training course at Stayner in November of 2024. Began reffing games mainly in Osprey but traveled to Honeywood several times as well. Ages were from U8-U13. U8 games I did on my own, while U9, U11, and U13 was part of a 2 man crew.
Operated the arena scoreboard in conjunction with the Ipad tracking goals, assists, and penalty minutes for levels ranging from U5-U18.
Volunteered at bi-weekly goalie development camps, participating as a shooter and contributing to the development of goalies ranging in age from 8-16 years old.
August 2022, assisted in the clubs outdoor movie night, working the entrance gate, helping with the food booth and various other tasks as assigned.
June 2023, assisted in the clubs strawberry supper, setting up tables and chairs, as well as doing food preparations.
September 2023, assisted with the cleanup of the arena facility after the fall fair dance.
April 2024, assisting with the clubs heritage dinner, setting up tables and chairs.
Received multiple academic awards at grade 8 graduation in Osprey Central School
My hobbies include multiple sports including hockey, and baseball. I also enjoy camping and fishing as well as riding my atv and snowmobile in the winter time. I also enjoy working with my hands and using basic power tools in simple construction projects and basic maintenance of small engine vehicles including lawnmowers, snowmobiles and atv's.
