• On a monthly basis, meet with the Head of Corporate Commercial Credit as well as the Chief Risk Officer to present a summary of the largest transactions, key statistics as well as any identified trends
• Prepare and distribute large exposure reporting to both internal stakeholders and regulators
• Approving personal discretionary limits for employees across the enterprise including Business Banking, Capital Markets, and Private Banking
• Assessing the performance of employees related to the use of their discretionary limits
• Maintaining relationships with senior executives and providing them with ongoing updates regarding the performance of their extended teams
• Lead a team of 15 direct reports who were responsible for funding commercial loans across Canadian Business Banking
• Working with relationship managers, analysts, and credit to ensure legal documents were prepared, loans were funded within SLA, and escalations were addressed in a timely manner
• Review existing processes across our department and identify enhancements opportunities
• Prepare a standardized process guide which was rolled out nationally across BMO Commercial Banking
