- Responsible for directly speaking to customer's on a daily basis, getting them to sign off on the workorder which fully outlines their car's servicing needs. Driving their cars in from the parking lot into the service garage area.
- Backing up into and Parking and setting up the cars to a hoist accurately and safely in a timely manner.
- Performing various safety checks such as tire pressure gauge checks, tread checks and washerfluid checks. Refilling as necessary and required.
- Safely using power tools accurately to remove the skid plate covering underneath cars after hoisting them up safely.
- Following work order papers to service the car based on the customer's requests and needs.
- Taking work order papers to the Parts & Tools shop of the dealership, getting the necessary parts, bringing them back and performing any Oil changes, Transmission changes, Rear Diff Fluid changes, using tools to safely and competently dispense of old Fluids and input new Fluids. Performing Tire rotations, dismounting and mounting on new Tire's after weighing and balancing them in the back of the shop, using power tools to unlatch bolts, and accurately torque new Tire's on to the car.
- Resetting maintence check lights for any/all services performed for the customer. Filling out the paperwork on the workorder once the workorder is complete, and handing the car keys to the front desk so that they can cash out the customer. Driving out the car to the front parking lot for the customer and parking the car there safely for them.
- At the end of the work day, cleaning up all tools and putting everything back in its place. Changing all garbages, recycling bins. Taking the Oil bins to the back of the shop, and safely and properly dispensing of the Oil within the bin using another machine and connecting the two for the draining of the Oil process. Cleaning the floors in the shop, lifting the hoists, spreading degreaser on the floors, and using the water machine to fully clean everything with a squeegee.
