Financial Services:

• Open new personal and non-personal accounts, and provide access to automated banking machines, telephone banking and online banking services
• Interview applicants for personal, mortgage, student, and business loans
• Promote the sale of deposit, investment, credit and loan products and services
• Assist clients by proposing solutions to address financial objectives such as business expansion, debt management, investment, and other financial goals
• Research and evaluate loan applicant's financial status, references, credit and ability to repay the loan
• Specializing in investment advice in Guaranteed Investment Certificates, U.S term deposits and money market, income and growth-based mutual funds
• Complete credit and loan documentation
• Submit credit, loan and mortgage applications to branch or credit manager with recommendations for approval or rejection; or approve or reject applications within authorized limits ensuring that credit standards of the institution are respected
• Prepare statements on delinquent accounts and forward irreconcilable accounts for collector action
• Review and update credit and loan files
• Act as joint custodian for cash and securities.

Mutual Funds Dealer – CIBC Securities Inc.

• Sell and service CIBC Securities Inc. investment products including mutual funds.
• Resolve and/or escalate for resolution client issues and concerns to the appropriate department without delay
• Proactively engage in community and banking center events to build and enhance sponsoring firm presence and gain market share
• Protect our sponsoring firm, and our clients by managing and minimizing exposure to risk by ensuring compliance with regulatory activities and guidelines and by adhering to established policies, practices and procedures
• Complete all training requirements and ensure compliance with enterprise risk and compliance programs

Client Engagement:

• Offering an exceptional client experience by providing support to clients and helping them manage their credit card products
• Focusing on each client experience and connecting with clients on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful

• Managing the organization’s corporate purchasing card program such as the issuance, renewal, and modification; cancellation, records retention, and distribution lists; compliance issues and customer service (credit limit increases, policy interpretation, exception transaction processing, etc.)
• Collaborating with relevant teams in performing corporate account reconciliation administration (monthly reconciliation, the addition of new users, etc.)
• Ability to Multi-task and review clients’ profiles simultaneously to provide a resolution and recommendations for the client

Public-Relations

• Initiating the hiring process and identifying appropriate candidates with specific skills required for higher-value projects when needed
• Reviewing proposals and developing relationships with appropriate media outlets to disseminate company public relations
• Researching grant opportunities and assisting in writing proposals to obtain funding

Online Marketing and Campaigns:

• Journal Voucher booking including checking for correct account usage
• Review and booking of provisions/accruals in accordance with Accounting Policies
• Resolve invoice discrepancies in coordination with Business Units.

Cash Management

• Checking and posting of cash vouchers
• Handling and approving employee company expense claims and travel expenses
• Daily reconciliation of cash journals and general ledger
• Processing cash payments & receipts in accordance with company guidelines and processes
• Monthly bank reconciliations and Clearing of Receivables against Collection

Credit Control & Banking Management:

• Assisting in Management Reporting, Financial Reporting and budgeting
• Monthly bank reconciliations and posting of bank charges, currency differences
• Financial analysis and controlling activities for the month-end results - Plausibility checks
• Analyzing orders, margins, overheads, and capital expenditures against budgets/forecasts and prepare performance commentary
