Served in the GFA/GFF Marketing Committee from 2005 up to 2018.

As a youth leader and advocate in Sports, I was selected to serve as president of the newly recognized GFF Nawetaan Zone in SK Central (SCSDA) in 2009. A position I held for 2 terms of 4 years and stepped down in 2017.

During this said period, I lead the Zone to their first Super Nawetaan competition, and today SCSDA is a key player in sports development in the Gambia.

In 2010, I served as member of the KM Regional Sports Association for a period of 4 years and after which, I was elected to serve another 4 years but this time as the First Vice President.

In 2013, I was elected into the newly created Regional Football Body (KANIFING MUNICIPAL REGIONAL FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION) also as the First Vice President. A position I held for 4 years and then step aside due to my busy work schedule.

During this time, I got involved in all sporting activities within KM in organizing, capacity building, resolving conflicts to name a few.
