Volunteer
I have been volunteering at Manitoba Pioneer Camp for the last 3 summers. I have helped with meal prep, cleaning dishes and outdoor maintenance. In the summer of 2024, I was a camp leader for 2 weeks. I would teach wilderness skills, organize activities for each day the campers were there. I would also lifeguard when we had free swim. We would also take the kids on a one night canoe trip which involved using a map to get around on the lake safe. When we got to the island, we would set up tents and cook our food over the fire for supper.
