I consider myself to be a very caring and compassionate person. I have a great deal of childcare experience as I started babysitting at a young age and I also have 2 nieces and a nephew all under 5 years old that I am very involved with. I take part in all their activity's and help to promote positive behavior and habits for them. I understand that safety and constant supervision are essential when caring for children. I have all my immunizations up to date as I was volunteering at a long term care facility in St. Johns during the Winter semester.
Attention to detail was a major part of my job as a dental assistant, from sterilizing equipment to ensuring that the correct instruments are available quickly for the dentist and rooms were prepared properly as everything has to be done timely and correctly Providing a compassionate, empathetic attitude with patients to help make them feel relaxed and help with fear and phobias throughout their appointment
I have completed my first year Bachelor of Science in Nursing before switching to Social Work During my nursing studies I worked in a clinical setting providing care, emotional support, taking vitals, appling dressing, bathing and many other comfort tasks for patients I learned to be adaptable with different patients and their deferent personality's and needs I built many great relationships with patients and enjoyed providing comfort and respect for each person I worked with
