• I refereed soccer matches for two years between 2021 and 2023, learning valuable skills and learning many things along the way. Here are some examples:

I also have gained experience and skills through babysitting as a young adult. This includes watching my younger siblings for extended periods of time, even days at a time while my parents were away, and also watching siblings of my friends and my parents friends. Having gained the trust of my parents enough to watch my siblings was one thing, but gaining the trust of those I knew less took time and demonstration of critical thinking and maturity. Some valuable skills I learned from these experiences are maturity, critical thinking, compassion, patience, and bravery.
