In a very fast-paced clinic, assisted physicians, RNs, and other colleagues in daily patient care, taking every initiative to ensure a well-prepared and smoothly run clinic. Responsibilities included rooming, vitals, EKGs, charting, stocking and inventory, HIPAA/OSHA, asceptic technique, managing provider workflow for 100+ doctors on varying schedules.

• Assisted in patient care and case management of a high-paced and high-volume clinic, floating between the primary care, immediate care, and women’s health clinics. Skills used included rooming, taking patients’ vitals, proper EMR charting and medical transcription, handling faxes and forms, HIPAA/OSHA, and other direct patient care.

• Roomed and took vitals for oncology patients receiving radiation treatments, prepared nasopharyngeal scopes observing infection control measures, performed and audited supplies/inventory weekly, performed 3-lead EKGs, assisted physicians during minor procedures and examinations, and participated in UCD's Second Blood Pressure initiative with a performance of 95%.

• Under the supervision of program managers, managed teams of up to seven team members; created and implemented program plans and events; resolved issues concerning staff, students, and administration; led activities with students on a regular basis; substituted for team leaders for K-8 classes at ELK Grove Unified, Sacramento Unified and Twin Rivers Unified expanded day programs; served as Interim Program Manager for the 2016 Summer of Service program at Rosemont High School.
