• This position was for 5 days while the festival was being held
• During this time I was responsible for scanning tickets,ticket sales and supervising volunteers as well as engaging and motivating guests to participate in the festival's activities.

• Created and budgeted a new program to support queer students
• Gained exposure to various aspects of the industry through active participation in company events, workshops, and training sessions during the internship period.
• Took meeting notes and compiled paperwork to support department.
• Developed time-management skills through balancing multiple assignments while consistently meeting deadlines during the internship period.

• In this position I was responsible for visiting geriatric patients who often have dementia and interacting with them and to help them with anything they require in a non medical sense for example setting up electronics,grabbing books, food and water.

• Worked front counter as cashier

• Conducted research on the intersectionality of being a person of color and queer and a student
• Contributed to the publication of multiple peer-reviewed articles, demonstrating expertise in subject matter.
• Regularly updated knowledge base through attending workshops, seminars, and professional development events related to the field of study.
• Supported senior researchers in the development of grant proposals, leading to increased funding opportunities.
