Grounded in adult learning principles and a learner-centered philosophy, I aim to utilize Knowles’ Theory of Andragogy and Mezirow’s Transformative Learning Theory. By combining these teaching approaches I provide a learning environment that values learner input, encourages self-direction and emphasizes critical reflection.

- Charge nurse position for the following areas: acute medicine, acute care of the elderly, subacute medicine, palliative care, nephrology and respirology
- Assist nursing staff with patient assignments, critical events, critical thinking and clinical reasoning

- Identify educational needs of the units and evaluate if current ways of doing are effective
