During my time as a cashier at Shoppers Drug Mart Pharmacy, I gained valuable experience in customer service and cashier duties. I assisted customers with product inquiries, managed transactions at the cash register, and supported the pharmacy team with prescription processing and inventory management. My role required strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment. This experience helped me develop essential skills in customer relations, cash handling, and teamwork and with this I am able to confidently say I will be a great fit for this Job.

Being a student/youth mentor was something I always loved and always felt proud of, I loved this role because it helped me showcase my leadership, communication and problem solving skills. I was offered this job in febuary 2019 by an organization through my school, I was given this opportunity as a result of my outstanding academic performance and I made fairly good earnings to support my family but unfortunately I had to quit the job when I was moving to canada. During my position as a student mentor I played a major role in supporting students like myself both academically, mentally and socially. It was my duty and obligation to provide guidiance and encouragement whenever they needed it. I was obliged to help them navigate through tough times both academically and in other aspects of their lives. I also showcased my leadership skills by helping organize activities, I lead group discussions, and various events. I was also pictured as a role model to a lot of the teens I monitored, And I took it as a responibility to track their progress and guide them through the right part. Overall I really enjoyed my time as a student/ youth mentor and I really hope I get a chance to practice it again.
