Event: Wilfrid Laurier University Open House

Responsibilities:

• Assist incoming students and their families in navigating the campus.
• Provide directions to buildings, facilities, and amenities. Offer personalized guidance to individuals who are lost or need assistance.
• Lead guided tours showcasing campus facilities, classrooms, and student hubs.
• Ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for visitors.

2. Extracurricular Trent University - Peterborough, ON - September 2023 to December 2023

I've actively participated in the vibrant extracurricular life at Trent University. Notably, I was a proud team member of the TrentU Cricket Association. Beyond the cricket field, I assumed the role of Director of Publicity within the association. I executed marketing campaigns and organized events to attract potential cricket enthusiasts. In this capacity, I was responsible for spreading awareness about our Club and inviting newcomers to join. Through this role, I had the pleasure of welcoming fresh faces into this community and allowing them to share their passion for the sport.

3. Volunteer-Usher Peterborough Theatre Guild - Peterborough, ON - November 2023 to November 2023

What: Ushering When: November 4th, 6.30-9.30pm

• I assisted and greeted guests with a warm demeanor so that they could have a positive experience the moment they arrived; helped patrons find their seating arrangement; provided information on the theatre layout, ensuring their comfort; and worked collaboratively with other ushers and theatre staff to maintain a smooth and efficient operation. I gained valuable experience in providing customer service by ensuring a seamless guest experience.
