Personal Statement

I am an energetic, enthusiastic, engaged leader with a very positive attitude, eager to contribute to team success through hard work, very effective communication skills, attention to detail, and leadership by example. I use positive reinforcement to develop cohesive and highly productive teams and generate meaningful and sustainable solutions to complex challenges. As a progressive "out of the box thinker," I maintain a " community first" style of leadership and service delivery model, and am constantly motivated to learn and excel in the administration and delivery of effective programming using strategies such as training best practices, respect, and professionalism aligned with the core values and mission of the community and employer. I am very interested in leading University of Victoria' Campus Safety Team as Director, to continue the legacy of refining, developing and delivering programs and objectives related to safety, security and emergency response. I believe solutions to complex problems can be solved through teamwork by examining established practices, programs, policies and service delivery model; solutions that are designed to inform guiding processes, procedures and documents and generate departmental efficiencies through fiscal responsibility.
