After completing my apprenticeship, I dedicated nearly four years of my career to working at Formspektrum, a company known for its specialization in high-quality interior design and exhibit construction. During this period, I gained extensive experience in various aspects of modern mill working, honed my CAD drawing skills using Rhino 7, and became proficient in both CNC programming and operation.
My primary responsibilities during this time revolved around creating CAD models and drawings tailored to our clients' needs. This involved not only mastering CNC programming and operation but also encompassed tasks such as finishing projects, installation, and effectively utilizing a range of common workshop machinery like table saws, jointers, planers, edge banders, vacuum presses, and shapers.
My time at Formspektrum was highly enjoyable. The company consistently demonstrated confidence in my abilities, offering me continuous opportunities to enhance both my personal growth and professional skills. Their unwavering support enabled me to make consistent improvements and advancements in my role.
I completed my three-and-a-half-year apprenticeship as a Furniture Maker at this workshop. Following my apprenticeship, I continued to work here for an additional six months.
During my time here, I was responsible for tasks such as assembling doors and windows. I also gained experience in crafting furniture using a variety of materials, including solid wood, chipboard, MDF and plywood.
