My experience with the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection/Cal Fire has allowed me to obtain experience and knowledge in a wide variety of capacities as a FFI such as; Fire Suppression, Cutting Handline, EMS Care, Technical Rescue, Public Assists, operation of emergency vehicles/equipment, station and vehicle maintenance and repair, cleaning, meal preparation, and basic paperwork such as response logs and staffing reports.
