Nnabugo Ihenacho

I’m a 20 year old designer/model. born and raised in Los Angeles California, hailing from ladera heights. I’ve been surrounded and even styled in all sorts of fashion from a young age. I grew up wearing vaquero boots and Ascarf’s. I would go to goodwills and thrifts all over la with my grandmother. I always dreaded it but as I grew up I found a deep love and appreciation for it and also upcykicng and styling worn pieces. Teaching me about waste , and sustainability. I practically came out of the womb drawing, in high school I rediscovered my love for fashion and began thrifting instead of buying into trend or fashion brands online. over the course of my life I’ve dealt with a lot mentally and spiritually, and one of the main thing that’s always kept me grounded is art of all kinds fueling my desire to create. I’m a multifaceted person like anyone else so I try to take inspiration from everything and anything. I model but my greatest aspiration is to be the creative of my own influential fashion brand, or rather an appreciation of Progression and humanities cultural accolades.Thats exactly what I plan to do with ukazi.
